Singkatnya, Bab Methods atau Methodology atau Materials and Methods, menjelaskan bagaimana Results atau hasil penelitian anda dapatkan. Penjelasan tersebut harus cukup detil sehingga peneliti lain yang sebidang ilmu dengan anda bisa mereproduksi atau mereplikasi penelitian anda sehingga bisa divalidasi hasil penelitian tersebut. Dijelaskan pula alasan pemilihan metode analisis, pertimbangan statistik, sampling, perolehan dan pengolahan data, serta dapat diilustrasikan secara tersirat dari Bab ini akan ada berapa Figure atau Diagram yang berkorelasi dapat dihasilkan pada Bab Results nantinya.
