ADVERBIAL OF CLAUSE
Adverbial of clause adalah anak kalimat yang berfungsi sebagai kata keterangan dimana adverb of clause pada umumnya dibentuk dari konjungsi atau kata penghubung yang berfungsi menghubungkan kata dengan kelompok kata atau kelompok kata dalam satu kalimat.
Konjungsi atau kata penghubung berfungsi menghubungkan kata dengan kelompok kata atau kelompok kata dalam satu kalimat. Konjungsi dapat dibedakan menjadi dua macam yaitu coordinate conjunction (konjungsi setara) dan subordinate conjunction atau konjungsi bertingkat.
Konjungsi setara (co-ordinate conjunction) seperti misalnya and, but, or and nor. Jenis konjungsi ini menghubungkan kata benda dengan kata benda, kata kerja dangan kata kerja, kelompok kata dengan kelompok kata, klausa dengan kelausa dan sebagainya.
